The Cook County Human Trafficking Task Force is pleased to announce that registration is now open for its second annual conference! This year’s conference focuses on the theme: Strengthening Collaboration: Increasing Effectiveness in the Fight Against Human Trafficking.

The conference will feature two full days of presentations on the most up to date and innovative work from local and national experts on human trafficking. Additionally, the two-day event will offer two tracks of interactive workshops. For more information about the content of the conference, please see the draft agenda here. Please note that the agenda is likely to change slightly as we continue to prepare for the conference. Make sure to check back regularly for updates!

Continuing education credits for attorneys and social workers will be available.

Registration is only $35, and includes the cost of light refreshments throughout the day and conference materials. On both days, lunch is on your own.

About the Cook County Human Trafficking Task Force:

The Cook County Human Trafficking Task Force is a project of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, the Salvation Army STOP IT Initiative Against Human Trafficking, the International Organization for Adolescents (IOFA), and the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Illinois.

As a multi-disciplinary task force, our mission is to:

  • Combat human trafficking through seamless collaboration between law enforcement and service providers;
  • Use a victim-centered approach in proactively investigating and prosecuting human trafficking crimes; and
  • Provide comprehensive, high-quality services to all victims of human trafficking.
