Become a Partner of The International Organization for Adolescents
By entering into partnerships with individuals, groups and community-based organizations, IOFA strives to improve the lives of adolescents through programming, advocacy and progressive social/organizational change at the local, regional and international levels.
Prospective partners are welcome to contact IOFA regarding a specific need or project idea in their community that complies with IOFA's mission. Local partners provide knowledge and expertise regarding the problem, participate in planning and implementing a strategy to address the local need, and contribute financial or human resources to the project.
In turn, IOFA assists local partners in one or more of the following areas:
- Training and technical support
- Program development, implementation, and evaluation
- Organizational development, collaboration, and support
- Service-based research
IOFA works to coordinate and link diverse social institutions within a community.
Activities include:
- Joint training sessions
- Collaborative research and projects
- Coalition building
- Cross disciplinary conferences
